Our firewood standards and registrations
WFQA certification and EPA registration
Wood Fuel Quality Assurance
WFQA (Wood Fuel Quality Assurance) certification is a quality guarantee for fuel wood products such as firewood, pellets, briquettes and wood chips. This certification scheme is managed by the Irish Bioenergy Association (IrBEA) and was created to ensure that wood fuels are produced, processed and stored in a way that delivers the best performance and efficiency for consumers.
Environmental Protection Agency
The EPA maintains Ireland’s register of solid fuel producers. Dublin Logs Ltd appears in the 2026–2027 register under F0171-01 for 100% biomass. This producer registration is separate from WFQA product certification.

Our supporting documents
Our WFQA certificate is held by Dublin Logs Ltd, the company trading as Kildare Logs. EPA producer registration is separate from WFQA certification. Contact us for the current documents and details of their scope.
