No, you don’t need to be home. We typically send a message or call one or two days prior to delivery to schedule the most convenient day and time for you. If you can’t be home, you can leave the gate open and provide some instructions on where we can place the bag or crate. Our driver will follow these instructions and leave your order at the designated location.

Most orders are delivered within 7 business days. However, the actual delivery time may be influenced by both seasonal demand and our delivery schedule. During the summer months, it might take a bit longer as we wait to fill our trucks for each regional delivery due to lower demand. On the other hand, around major holidays like Christmas, delays can occur because of high demand and limited time to complete all deliveries. Regardless of the season, we always aim to get your firewood to you as quickly as possible. We use a small delivery truck, specifically a Mercedes Sprinter van with a Luton body, which is taller than standard vans. Our lorry is equipped with a tail lift to facilitate the safe and efficient lowering of firewood to the ground. We use an electric pallet truck to manoeuvre the firewood to your desired location. Please note that the pallet truck is not designed to go over steps, grass, or gravel. However, we can use boards to navigate over small lips, such as entering a garage. These boards are used to cross grass or gravel for short distances if needed, up to a maximum of 10 metres.

• For purchases made through our website, you can pay online using credit or debit cards, or Revolut payment. Alternatively, you can select the option to pay upon delivery using a card or cash.

• For purchases made via phone or WhatsApp, we can send you a payment link that can be completed using a credit or debit card. You can also indicate that you’d like to make the payment upon delivery.

Our kiln-dried firewood has a moisture content of 18% or less, while our air-dried firewood has a moisture content of 25% or less. Its often around 20%.

We have a variety of wood types available. We strive to keep our stock filled with a range of hardwoods including Ash, Oak, Beech, Hornbeam, Alder, and Birch. We also consistently have softwoods available in our inventory.
