1. Scope
These Delivery Terms apply to all orders dispatched by pallet from Kildare Logs Ltd to addresses within the Republic of Ireland. By completing a purchase you accept these conditions in full.
2. Delivery Service

| Vehicle type | Rigid truck up to 18 tonnes (approx. 11 m L × 2.8 m W × 4 m H). A 12 t or 7.5 t vehicle may be used if requested at checkout and the depot confirms availability. |
| Off-loading equipment | Tail-lift + manual pallet truck. No cranes or forklifts supplied by the driver. |
| Service level | Kerb-side / driveway only. The driver will place the pallet on the nearest safe, level, hard surface adjacent to the delivery address. Any movement beyond this point is entirely at the driver’s discretion and is not included in the delivery charge. |
| Surfaces the pallet truck will not cross | Gravel, grass, compacted stone, steep slopes, steps or kerbs. |
| Recipient presence | A responsible adult (18+) must be on site to confirm location, sign the Proof of Delivery (POD) and keep gateways clear. |
| Unattended deliveries | If nobody is present the driver may attempt to call the phone number provided. Failing that, the pallet will return to the depot and a redelivery fee €25 + VAT per pallet will apply. |
| Pallet & packaging disposal | The pallet and any wrapping remain the property of the customer. |
3. Lead-times
Transit – typical delivery time is 2–4 working days from collection. Residential addresses may take up to 3 working days after arrival at the final depot.
All transit times are estimates and may extend by 24 h during peak volumes or adverse weather.
4. Packaging & Labelling (dispatch from our yard)
We secure each crate to its pallet and wrap it with stretch-film. Your name, address and phone number are printed on the outer label; the final depot applies barcode labels for network traceability.
5. Failed Delivery, Redelivery & Cancellation

6. Claims for Loss or Damage
- Inspect the pallet on arrival.
- Note any damage on the POD and notify Kildare Logs in 2 days,
- Submit full claim documentation (photos, invoice, weight proof) within 5 days.
Liability is limited to 2 SDR (≈ €2.30) per kilogram, in line with the Freight Forwarders Institute conditions adopted by Deering Transport.
7. Data & Privacy
Delivery data (name, address, phone, e-mail) are shared with Deering Transport and their partner depots solely for the purpose of collecting, transporting and delivering your order.
8. Governing Law
These Delivery Terms are governed by Irish law and any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
