Alder Chunky Kindling Logs – 10kg Bag

Chunky Alder Kindling Logs – 10kg Bag

Easy to Light • Lively Flames • Great Value

Make lighting your fire easier with our Chunky Alder Kindling Logs. Each generous 10kg bag contains chunky pieces of Alder hardwood, perfect for getting your fire established quickly and bringing warmth into your home.

Unlike traditional thin kindling, these larger pieces can help build up your fire once the initial flame has started. They’re a convenient choice for anyone using a wood-burning stove or open fireplace.

How Does Alder Firewood Burn?

Alder is a lighter hardwood known for its easy-lighting properties and lively, attractive flames.

When properly dried, Alder catches fire relatively quickly and provides a good burst of warmth, helping your stove or fireplace get up to temperature.

Because Alder is less dense than hardwoods such as Oak, Beech or Hornbeam, it burns faster and doesn’t produce the same long-lasting heat. This makes it particularly useful for starting fires and building a strong flame before adding longer-burning hardwood logs.

Why Choose Chunky Alder Kindling?

• Easy to light: Alder catches fire readily when properly dried.
• Quick warmth: Helps build a lively fire without a lengthy wait.
• Chunky pieces: Larger than traditional thin kindling, making them useful for building up an established flame.
• Natural hardwood: A practical choice for everyday fire lighting.
• Convenient 10kg bags: Easy to carry, stack and store.
• Excellent value: Save when you purchase five bags together.
